If you are using a Sony Smartwatch 3, Asus Zenwatch 1, LG G Watch, or any other older WearOS 1.x smartwatches, the process to install Facer on your watch should be automatic and trigger immediately after installing Facer on your phone. That said, in some instances Facer may not install properly and you may need to force it to be re-installed.
IMPORTANT: Your WearOS 1.x watch must have Google Play Services 19.x.x or above to be able to install Facer. To check which version you have and force an update, please follow these steps.
Once confirmed, to force Facer to install itself on your WearOS 1.x watch, follow the steps below:
1. Open the WearOS app on your phone:
2. Go to Advanced Settings at the bottom of the screen
3. Tap Re-sync Apps
This step will force Facer to be re-installed on your watch if it's not currently installed. It will also update any existing apps on your watch to the latest available version.
4. After a few minutes, a notification should pop up on your watch indicating that Facer was successfully installed
5. From there, either touch that notification, or long press on your watch face to select Facer. You're done!
